I’m using Velja to allow me to quickly and easily decide which browser to open a link in - whether that link is in an email, another browser, etc. For my use case, I use a Mac. I have 3 chrome profiles - two for work, and one for personal. I can pick which one to use for any given link. That’s what I needed. So, this solves the problem nicely for me.

This is the best audio recorder/transcriber I’ve come across. I used to work in a noisy warehouse and could never hear our team leader during morning meetings. Using this, I was able to catch all the words even with the surrounding noise. Also great with non-English languages. It does what it’s supposed to do- simple as that.

Velja is a wonderful app. I use it on my work Mac to send links in Slack to Chrome(my work browser), while sending links from Messages to Safari. And you can configure other links you receive to open in any app you choose. If you get a link that you haven’t configured, then Velja will prompt you to pick a browser. It’s great!

I use shortcuts a lot and the Short Run app has quickly become almost indispensable. I especially like the ability to run shortcuts by way of quick keys and application-specific shortcuts. I wrote the developer about two issues, and they were fixed in an update two days later. An easy 5 stars for me.

The app works great and it respects user’s privacy by not collecting data. It’s also the only app I’ve found where one can drag an audio from iMessage and drop it in the app to get a transcription, which is useful for users that use the phone in multiple languages.

I just wish you could convert to more than just HEIC. The Image Converter app (a competitor also on the App Store) which does do multiple formats isn’t as clean as this app. It only does 1 image at a time and you can’t tell it where to send the converted images - you have to drag them from the app into the folder you want.

I really appreciate how easy the UI is to update the widget text, especially on the Apple Watch app. It only takes a few taps and the interface is designed in a way that actually makes sense. I had a different menu bar calendar that broke when I updated to Sonoma. This app works great so far. My only suggestion would be to pull "Settings" out from the "hide nonessential menu items", so you can still hide most stuff, but still access the settings without having to remember the shortcut. Pandan is laser-focused on delivering a minimal UI to notify you when you've been staring at your computer too long. I appreciate that it doesn't get in my way, because often I need a couple minutes to finish what I'm doing when I get the notification.

I commonly need to move documents around and share them between computers. Without this app I'd have to waste my time messing around in a terminal. Another app that feels so simple but powerful that it's got me questioning why this isn't the default behaviour for macOS.

A simple way to customize and add Lock Screen widgets. Similar apps only allow Lock Screen widgets from just a select few apps. This Quick Launch App however, allows you to add any app, or url. I looked into several similar apps, and none compare to this. Quick Launch is BY FAR the best. It is easy to use, very functional, and I highly recommend it.

I love the ability to run shortcuts from lockscreen

I set up a driving lockscreen that allows me to launch shortcuts to my daily commute route and then to order a cup of coffee when I get to work. The app does even more than that. I’m still exploring. Thanks for some great functionality!

As far as a decent phot blurring style of wallpaper system app, this is by far the best one I’ve come across - and it’s 100% free. This app does exactly what it says, and what I wanted, a way to quickly prevent my Mac from going into sleep mode for a certain duration of time. I wanted something like Caffeine, but more up-to-date and this fit the bill. No issues, happy user.
